K-18 Softball Splits at Ellsworth

The Russell K-18 Softball team split their third straight doubleheader to begin the season Thursday evening in Ellsworth.

Ellsworth took Game 1 by a score of 8-7 with Tionna Napue taking the loss for Russell before Russell outlasted Ellsworth 12-8 in the nightcap with Sydney Kraus picking up the win.

Russell is now 3-3 on the season and is back at Memorial Park on Tuesday, June 21  for a doubleheader with Osborne.  First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
