KSHSAA Announces Regional Assignments for Fall Sports
The Kansas State High School Activities Association has released its regional assignments for fall sports.
Russell will host a Class 3A Sub-State Volleyball Tournament on October 23 at Amos Morris Gym. Teams joining Russell in the sub-state are Beloit, Ellsworth, TMP-Marian, Minneapolis, Norton, Phillipsburg and Riley County.
For area volleyball teams, Sylvan-Lucas and Victoria are in the Sylvan-Lucas 1A Division I Sub-State, while Natoma and Wilson go to the Central Plains 1A Division II Sub-State in Claflin. Those sub-state tournaments also will be held on October 23.
The Russell cross country team will run in the Lakin 3A Regional on October 23. Natoma, Sylvan-Lucas and Wilson all travel to the Centralia 1A Regional and Victoria is in the Ness City 1A Regional.
The Russell girls golf team will play in the Lakin 3-2-1A Regional on October 11 at the Lakin Municipal Course.
The Victoria girls tennis team will compete in the Trego 3-2-1A Regional on October 8-9 in WaKeeney.
