Lady Broncos Fall Twice at Ellis

The Russell-Victoria Softball team battled tooth and nail in their doubleheader on Monday, May 9 at Ellis, but in the end the Lady Railers prevailed in both contests by scores of 9-6 and 12-8.
Brooklyn Nowak and Tionna Napue were the pitchers of record for Russell-Victoria as their overall record dropped to 7-11.
The Lady Broncos are back at Memorial Park Tuesday afternoon, May 10 to face arch-rival TMP-Marian/LaCrosse for a doubleheader. It is also Senior Day and the seniors and their parents will be honored in between games.
Tuesday's doubleheader will be broadcast live on KRSL 95.9 FM, Nex-Tech Cable Channel 19 and online at KRSL.com with the pre-game show starting at 3:45 PM and first pitch set for 4 PM.
The Lady Broncos will begin play on May 16 at the Class 3A Regional hosted by TMP-Marian/LaCrosse.
