Lady Broncos Fall Twice at SES

The Russell-Victoria Lady Bronco Softball team took the field for the first time in nearly two weeks as they travled to Gypsum for a doubleheader with Southeast of Saline on Thursday afternoon.

The Lady Trojans completed a sweep with a pair of 18-0 victories.  Both games ended after the top of the third inning due to the run rule.

Russell-Victoria (1-17) will close out the regular season on Tuesday, May 9 with a doubleheader at The Independent School of Wichita.  First pitch for Game 1 is set for 3 p.m.  The Lady Broncos will then turn their focus to the Class 3A Regional which begins on Monday, May 15 in Concordia.
