Lady Broncos Sweep Triangular in Haven

The Russell High School volleyball team swept a triangular at Haven on Tuesday, Oct. 12.

The Lady Broncos beat Haven in two (25-18, 25-15) and Larned in two (25-12, 25-14).

Russell improves to 11-19 and now turns their focus to the Mid-Continent League Tournament starting on Thursday, Oct. 14. The Lady Broncos play Plainville at 6 PM and TMP-Marian at 7 PM in a triangular at TMP-Marian's Billinger Fieldhouse. The winner of the triangular in Hays advances to the semifinals on Saturday in Phillipsburg.
