Makeup Date Announced for Lady Bronco Softball vs. Sacred Heart

Russell High School Athletics Director Scott Nuss announced Wednesday that the postponed Softball Doubleheader between Russell-Victoria and Sacred Heart will be made up on Tuesday, April 27 at Memorial Park in Russell.

The two teams were scheduled to face off on April 9 at Memorial Park but rain moved in less than 20 minutes before first pitch.  The Lady Broncos took the field to warm up for the top of the first inning of Game 1 before returning to their dugout and a short time later the games were postponed.

First pitch for Game 1 on April 27 is set for 4 p.m.

Nuss also announced that the Baseball Doubleheader between Russell-Victoria and Sacred Heart also postponed from April 9 will not be made up.  Officials are currently working on finding another opponent for the Baseball team.
