Mooney Finishes Second at Ellsworth
The Russell-Victoria Boys Golf team competed in its final regular season Tournament on Thursday at the Ellsworth Invitational.
The Broncos placed fifth out of 10 teams with a total score of 188. Hoisington won the team title with a score of 175, edging out second place Beloit by three strokes and third place TMP-Marian by four strokes.
Junior Golfer Jake Mooney was again the team's top finisher, placing second, two strokes behind tournament winner Jennings Sloan of Beloit.

The Broncos now turn their attention to the Mid-Continent League Tournament on Thursday, May 15, hosted by TMP-Marian at Smoky Hill Country Club in Hays. Tee time is set for 1 p.m.
