Ney Reaches Another Milestone as RHS Volleyball Sweeps Two

The Russell Lady Broncos Volleyball team came out strong Tuesday and swept of pair of matches against Hill City and Plainville during a triangular at Amos Morris Gymnasium.

In the first match of the evening Russell took down Hill City in straight sets by scores of 25-6 and 25-14.  In the nightcap, the Lady Broncos wasted little time in dispatching Plainville in two straight 25-11 and 25-11.

After recording her 500th career dig in the season opening matches at Ellis, senior Jaden Ney clicked another milestone off her list with her 500th career kill. 

Russell is now 11-9 overall on the season and 6-2 in Mid-Continent League play.

The Lady Broncos are back on the floor at Amos Morris Gymnasium on Thursday, September 26 when they will play a double-dual against Ell-Saline.  First serve is set for 5 p.m.
