NPL, CPL Announce All-League Volleyball Selections

Following the conclusion of the 2022 High School Volleyball season, the Northern Plains League and Central Prairie League each have released their all-league selections which include several area players.

Two members of the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs who went 37-5 and won the NPL and Sub-State championships to reach the Class 1A Division l State Tournament for the first time since 2017 made the first team.  They were senior Keeli Knobbe and junior Sophie Pancost.  Their teammate, junior Emma Cline received second team honors.  

Two area players, senior Candyce Engling of Natoma and junior Anna Thielen of Wilson made the third team.  Receiving Honorable Mention were seniors Grace Bohnen of Wilson and Goldie Dohe of Sylvan-Lucas.

Two players from Victoria were named to the Central Prairie League's all-league roster.  Senior Janet Hugunin was a unanimous selection for the first team and senior Brooklyn Nowak was selected to the second team.
