Plainville Repeats as K-18 Softball State Champs

Plainville captured the K-18 State Fastpitch Softball Championship on Sunday, July 14 in Lucas.

Plainville beat Osborne 13-7 in the championship game.

Plainville won the 2023 title after beating Scott City in the title game.

Ellis took third place with a 14-3 victory over Oakley.

First round games were played on Saturday, July 13. Oakley topped Scott City 18-10, Ellis cruised by Quinter 15-3 and Plainville edged Beloit 7-5. In the semifinals on Sunday, Osborne shutout Oakley 15-0 and Plainville beat Ellis 9-3.
