RHS Girls 5th, Boys 7th at Russell Invitational
The Russell High School Boys and Girls Track and Field teams began their 2026 season on Thursday by hosting the Russell Invitational at Shaffer Field.
The Lady Broncos finished tied for fifth with a total of 46 points while Hoxie comfortably won the meet with 170 points, beating out second place Ellsworth by 48 points. On the Boys side, Russell placed seventh with 37 points while Hutchinson Trinity Catholic took first with 136 points outdistancing second place Phillipsburg by 26 points.
