RHS Netters Claim Title at Trego Invitational

The Russell Lady Bronco volleyball team extended its best start in recent years by winning all its matches at the Trego Volleyball Invitational on Saturday, September 9 in WaKeeney.

The Lady Broncos rolled through pool play with two-game sweeps of Stockton, Osborne and Deerfield before taking down Northern Valley with a two-game sweep in the semifinals and defeating host school Trego in three sets.

Russell is now 10-1 overall and will next be in action on Tuesday, September 12 when they head to Stockton for a triangular that also includes Hoxie.  First serve is at 5 PM.
