RHS Track and Field: Girls 8th, Boys 11th at Beloit

The Russell Broncos Boys and Girls Track and Field teams competed on Friday at the annual Beloit Relays.

The Russell Girls finished eighth out of 12 teams while the RHS Boys placed 11th.

Three Bronco athletes turned in top six finishes at the event.  Kinsey Zorn continued her consistency with first place finishes in the 400-meter and 800-meter runs.  Macy Patterson turned in a second place finish the Shot Put and placed fifth in the Discus Throw.  Ian Strobel also placed fifth in the Discus.

The track teams will take part in their final competition of the regular season on Thursday, May 7 at the Victoria Invitational.  Events begin at 3 p.m.
