Russell K-18 Drops Final Two Games of League Tournament, Plays in Concordia on Monday

The Russell K-18 summer 15-and-under baseball team ended up going 1-2 at the Twin Lakes League Tournament and finished fourth.

On Thursday, July 8, Russell fell to Waconda 12-8 in the semifinals and then on Friday, July 9, Russell lost a slugfest with Beloit Blue 19-14.

With the top four finish, Russell advances to the K-18 East Regional Tournament hosted by Concordia. Russell will open against host Concordia on Monday, July 12 at 6 PM. Semifinal games are Thursday, July 15 with the third place and championship games on Friday, July 16.
