Russell K-18 Softball Splits Regular Season Finale

The Russell K-18 Fastpitch Softball team wrapped up their 2022 regular season Thursday evening with a doubleheader at Ellsworth.

Russell won Game 1, 13-5 behind another strong effort by Sydney Kraus before dropping a wild 14-13 decision in the nightcap.  Tionna Napue started Game 2 and was relieved by Haylee Powers and Kraus who took the loss.

Russell, the defending K-18 State Champion finishes the regular season with a record of 7-6.  Up next for the Softballers is the K-18 State Tournament July 16-18.
