Russell Radio Announces Spring Sports Broadcast Schedule

On Tuesday, March 24, Russell Radio will broadcast the first of seven doubleheaders featuring Russell-Victoria Baseball and Softball.

Tuesday's broadcast will feature the Russell-Victoria Baseball team under new head coach Brandon Ridgley as they play host to Hoisington at 4 p.m. at the Shaffer Sports Complex.  The Broncos, who qualified for the State Tournament last season for the first time since 2016, will look to repeat that performance.

On Friday, March 27, the Russell-Victoria Softball team coached this season by Cole Greenwood will take on arch-rival TMP-Marian at Memorial Park.  

All games will air on KRSL 95.9 FM, online at KRSL.com and be streamed on Alexa devices.  The first game of each doubleheader is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. with the pre-game show hosted by the voice of the Broncos, Erik Stone beginning at 3:40 p.m.  Russell Radio will also broadcast all postseason contests involving the Baseball and Softball teams.

Tuesday, March 24: Russell-Victoria Baseball vs. Hoisington, 4 p.m.
Friday, March 27: Russell-Victoria Softball vs. TMP-Marian, 4 p.m.
Tuesday, April 14: Russell-Victoria Baseball vs. Sylvan-Lucas-Lincoln at Lucas, 4 p.m.
Tuesday, April 28: Russell-Victoria Softball vs. Larned, 4 p.m.
Thursday, April 30: Russell-Victoria Softball vs. Goodland, 4 p.m.
Friday, May 1: Russell-Victoria Baseball vs. TMP-Marian, 4 p.m.
Thursday, May 7: Russell-Victoria Baseball vs. Sacred Heart, 4 p.m.

In the event of a postponement due to inclement weather, other doubleheaders may be selected for broadcast during the course of the season.
