In response to the recent significant increase in COVID-19 cases in Russell County, and with the health, safety and well-being of student-athletes, coaches and staff in mind, USD 407 has modified its attendance restrictions for athletic events and school activities.

Effective immediately, all spectators must have a ticket voucher in order to purchase admission to USD 407 athletic events and school activities. Four ticket vouchers will be produced for each rostered student-athlete. Coaches will distribute ticket vouchers to their team members first. Any remaining tickets will be returned to the offices, where they will be available to the public.

Masks will continue to be required at all indoor athletic events, per USD 407 and MCL policy, and in accordance with KSHSAA guidelines. If mask wearing continues to be an issue, the number of ticket vouchers available will be reduced to two per student-athlete. If mask wearing remains an issue beyond that, spectators will no longer be allowed at indoor events.

This protocol will be in place until further notice.
