Russell's Birky Earns Top 10 Finish in Hays
Another tournament, another top 10 finish. That's been the theme this spring for Russell's Cole Birky.
The RHS senior has played in six tournaments and placed ninth or better in each tournament, including a pair of second place finishes.
On Monday, May 3, Birky fired a 92 and took fifth at the TMP-Marian Invitational at Smoky Hill Country Club in Hays.
Parker Krob from Plainville won the individual title with a 78. TMP's Landon Rozean was second with an 85.
Plainville won the team title with a 386. TMP-Marian was second followed by Colby.
Russell is right back in action on Thursday, May 6 in Ellsworth. Tee time is at 3 PM.
