Russell's Mooney Finishes Second in Ellsworth
Two members of the Russell High School boys golf team played in the Ellsworth Invitational on Thursday, May 4 at the Ellsworth Golf Course.
Freshman Jake Mooney fired a 76 and placed second. Landon Robinson carded a 130 and was 30th.
TMP's Pake Dewey won the individual title with a 75. Ellinwood shot a 337 and beat out Larned by five strokes for the team title.
Next up for Russell is the Mid-Continent League Tournament in Hays on May 11. Tee time is at 10 AM.
