RV 19U Group Finishes Season With Sweep

The Russell-Victoria baseball group's 19 and Under baseball team capped off their 2021 summer season with a doubleheader sweep on the road Wednesday evening at Sylvan Grove.

Russell-Victoria claimed Game 1 with a 9-4 victory. Jackson Cross started the game and was the winning pitcher with Andrew Roth pitching in relief to finish off the contest.

Russell-Victoria also took Game 2 10-0 in four innings. In the nightcap, Aidan Rohr, a Russell senior-to-be, pitched a complete game and allowed just one hit while striking out 10. Cameron Farmer led the offensive attack with a two-run homer.

Russell-Victoria wraps up the 2021 campaign with a record of 20-7. The head coach is Kevin Huser and his assistant coach is Wyatt Schumacher.
