Topeka West Wins Russell Invitational

Topeka West went 5-0 and won the Russell Invitational Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, September 17 at Amos Morris Gym in Russell.

Russell High School had a tough day. The Lady Broncos went 0-4 and suffered losses to Topeka West (25-21, 25-17), Central Plains (25-8, 27-25), Stockton (25-13, 25-16) and Minneapolis (25-19, 18-25, 25-20).

Russell is now 9-8 on the season and hosts an MCL league triangular with Hoxie and Plainville on Tuesday, September 20. Matches begin at 5 PM.
