Two Area Players Selected for KBCA All-Star Games
Two area High School Basketball players have been selected for the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Games set for June 21 at Kansas Wesleyan University's Mabee Arena in Salina.
Marilyn Soeken of Central Plains High School, which advanced to the Class 1A Division l State Tournament this past season will play in the Girls game while Landon Simpson of Ellinwood High School will play in the Boys contest. Both individuals will play for the Gold team in their respective games.
The Girls game will tip off at 6 p.m. with the Boys game tipping off at approximately 8 p.m.
