Victoria-Russell Netters Open Season with Win at Phillipsburg

The Victoria-Russell Girls Tennis team opened the 2024 season on Tuesday afternoon with a first-place finish at the Phillipsburg Invite.

The number two doubles team of Piper Nowlin and Rachel Kuhn led the way for Victoria-Russell with a first-place finish.  The number one doubles team consisting of Anna-Marie Marsell and Hailey Gier placed third.

In other results, Sage Moos placed first at number one singles while Aurora Nowlin placed fifth at number two singles.  

The Lady Knights varsity team will next be in action on Saturday, September 14 when they travel west for the Goodland Invite.
