Weather Nixes Saturday Games at Hoisington Winter Jam

Weather conditions have prompted the postponement of Saturday's games at the Hoisington Winter Jam which Victoria competes in.

According to a tweet from the Hoisington Cardinals account, retweeted by Victoria, all Saturday games at the Hoisington Winter Jam are canceled.  Only the first and third place games will be made up in Hoisington on Monday, January 23.

At this time Victoria is working with Otis-Bison and LaCrosse on making up their scheduled games from Saturday.  Victoria's Girls are slated to play Otis-Bison for 7th place and Victoria's Boys are scheduled to play LaCrosse for 5th place.  Those games are expected to be played at a site to be determined according to Victoria Athletics Director Dan Rogers.

The Northern Plains League Tournament which Natoma, Sylvan-Lucas and Wilson take part in is not affected by the weather.  That tournament was completed on Friday night in Lincoln.
