Box Culvert Bridge Replacement Underway on K-18 in Russell County

The Kansas Department of Transportation has started work on a box culvert bridge replacement project on Kansas Highway 18 in Russell County.

The bridge is located approximately one mile east of the Kansas Highway 232 junction near Lucas.

Traffic through the construction zone is reduced to one lane and is being guided by a temporary stoplight. Motorists should plan for minor delays of around five minutes.

KDOT expects work to be completed in August, conditions permitting.
