Carter's Big Tent Fireworks Celebrates 50 Years

Carter's Big Tent Fireworks at US Highway 40 and Van Houten Street in Russell is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

Mark Carter said many things have changed over the years.

Mark's daughter Ashley said it's just a family tradition.

The Carter family is also responsible for the City of Russell fireworks display named in honor of Mark's late father, Ernie Carter.

From now through July 4, Carter's Big Tent Fireworks is open with a great selection of all your favorites plus night works. Selected items are buy one, get one free.
