Great Bend Man Injured in One-Vehicle Crash in Ellsworth County

A Great Bend man was injured Wednesday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash in Ellsworth County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, at 4:07 PM Wednesday, a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 77-year-old Lee Roy Henderson of Great Bend was westbound on Kansas Highway 4 just east of Kansas Highway 141 when the vehicle entered the south ditch, struck an embankment and came to rest in a pasture facing east.

Henderson was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita with suspected serious injuries.

He was buckled up at the time of the crash.
