Lincoln Road Between 176th, 179th Street Closed While Crews Mill, Rework Road Surface

On March 19, the Russell County Road and Bridge Department closed Lincoln Road between 176th Street and 179th Street in one mile sections while crews mill and rework the road surface.

The first portion of road that will be closed is the mile between 178th and 179th.

Crews are expected to be completed with the first section on March 21 and will then continue to the next mile between 178th and 177th.

Work will continue in one mile sections until the project is completed.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and be mindful of construction in the area.
