Lofland Family is Russell's Family of the Year

The Lofland family is Russell's Family of the Year.

Russell Main Street, Inc. released the following statement:

"As we serve our community and make Russell a better place for all, it is important that we take a minute to recognize the families that make us a community. We know we have many outstanding families, but it is our honor to recognize one deserving family each year.

Please join us in saying job well done to our 2020 Russell's Family of the Year, the Lofland family, Alex, Audrey, Campbell, Lydia, Naomi and Henry.

They are a close family and always ready to help others.

Through the Lofland family nomination it is evident this family is an asset to our community.

The Loflands are youth and family ministry coordinators, they enjoy playing in the bell choir, Alex often plays piano in church and is also an active Rotarian. Audrey is on the library board and home-schools their children. Campbell is active in cub scouts and baseball. Lydia is involved in tee ball.

Another sweet gesture we heard about in their nomination form was how the Loflands will text Grandma from time to time and surprise her with a hot delicious meal.

Congratulations to the Loflands and thank you for all you do for our community.

The Lofland family will be honored in Main Street fashion during Russell's Lighted Christmas Parade this Saturday."
