Lucas Places Second in USA Today Poll for Best Small Town Art Scene

Lucas has placed second in the rankings in a recent USA Today poll for Best Small Town Art Scene.

A billboard highlighting the ranking has been installed on Kansas Highway 18 just outside of Lucas.

The Grassroots Art Center in Lucas thanks the volunteers for the billboard installation - Jon and Harlan Pancost, Rick Rupp, Chase Palmer, and Steve and Rosslyn Schultz.

Gary Pendergrass of Wichita will also soon install a metal sculpture pointing the way to Lucas.
