The American Legion Auxiliary Natoma Unit 109 paused in the midst of the American Legion Hall restoration to gather bushel baskets of essential items for their neighbor ladies who lost their homes in the devastating Four County Fire.

One week before Christmas, December 15, wildfires fanned by 100 mph wind burned thousands of acres, thousands of cattle and horses, wildlife, ranches and farms with neighbors' houses left in ashes. Memories, photographs and everything within the walls of their homes were destroyed, leaving families broken hearted. For God and Country, the American Legion Auxiliary continues to serve others through sharing their resources, talents, expertise and good will in the American spirit for veterans, their families, children, youth and community.
