No New COVID-19 Cases in Russell County

No new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Russell County since Wednesday, February 17.

This according to Russell County Health Department Administrator Paula Bitter in her 12 PM report on Friday.

Russell County has 832 total positive cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

The current active and in isolation case count is 10 with 803 recovered cases, 57 hospitalizations with one currently hospitalized, 23 deaths and 25 in quarantine.

The cumulative positivity rate for this week is 13.6 percent. The cumulative positivity rate for the month of February is 12.3 percent.

Bitter also mentioned in her Friday report Kansas did not receive any COVID-19 vaccines this week due to delivery issues caused by the weather. She is hopeful delivery of vaccines will resume next week.
