Representative Troy Waymaster of Kansas House District 109 presented a Point of Personal Privilege on the House Floor March 27 honoring Russell High School junior Jaden Ney for winning the champion title at the Kansas Girls 4-1A State Tournament in the 145-pound weight class this year.

He also acknowledged her undefeated record, being the first girl wrestler from Russell High School to win a state championship title and being the fourth Russell Bronco to win a state championship in the school's history.

"It is my pleasure to recognize Jaden Ney for this impressive accomplishment. She has had an amazing three years of wrestling, each better than the last. This season for Jaden was astounding, winning both the state championship, and going undefeated. I wish her luck in her senior year and repeating such an inspiring feat," said Representative Troy Waymaster.
