Rising Red Dirt Country Singer Josh Meloy to Perform in Russell, Tickets Go On Sale This Friday

The Russell Saddle Club presents Red Dirt Country Singer Josh Meloy live in concert on Friday, July 26 at the Russell County Free Fair.

His music is characterized by gritty vocals, reflective lyrics and a minimalist acoustic sound.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Meloy grew up in a family with deep ties to music but didn't explore music himself until he began playing guitar in college.

Since launching his musical career in 2018, Meloy has released three albums - "Washington Street" in 2018, "Oklahoma" in 2020 and "Turning Point" in 2022. Some of his top songs include "Porch Light," "Met the Devil in Oklahoma," "You Here Tonight" and recently released "1,000 Miles."

The evening kicks off with a ranch rodeo at 7 PM. Seth Henry Morse takes the stage at 9 PM with Josh Meloy singing at around 9:30 PM.
