The Russell Booster Club has announced the merger of the junior high and high school booster clubs following a meeting held June 28.

The consolidation aims to streamline efforts and resources to better support students and school activities.

During the meeting, new bylaws were discussed and approved. Nominations for new officers were also heard with elections conducted. The finalization of these officer positions will occur at the next meeting.

"This merger is a work in progress," said Publicity Officer for the Russell Booster Club Damian Morgenstern. "There was a lot of good discussion and we are confident this change will bring great benefits to our school community."

The next meeting is scheduled for July 10 at 5:30 PM at the Russell Junior-Senior High School Library. At this meeting, they will finalize officer positions for the upcoming school year and begin forming committees in preparation for the new year.

They encourage anyone interested in volunteering for these committees to attend the meeting. Your involvement is crucial to their success and they welcome all support from community members.

The Russell Booster Club is dedicated to supporting the athletic, academic and extracurricular programs at Russell Junior High and High School. Their mission is to promote school spirit and enhance the student experience through active volunteerism and community involvement.
