Russell Main Street, Inc. Announces Holiday Events Schedule, Theme

With it beginning to look like Christmas this week, why not look ahead to the holiday season. Russell Main Street, Inc. has announced dates for its annual Lighted Christmas Parade and Weihnachtsfest and the parade theme.

Russell Main Street, Inc. Executive Director Krista Whitmer stopped by KRSL's Morning Show on Friday. She said the parade will be held on Saturday, November 28 at 7:15 PM and has a great theme.

Weihnachtsfest, Russell's Christmas Festival, is set for Saturday, December 12 from 11 AM to 2 PM on Main Street. Many of the same events will be held again along with a new addition. At 2 PM, a brass quintet will play holiday music.

A favorite of Weihnachtsfest is the drawing for a handmade Santa. A portion of the proceeds from this drawing will go to a special person.
