USD 407: Thank a Board Member

January is School Board Recognition Month in Kansas.

Russell County USD 407 Superintendent Shelly Swayne says it's a time to recognize and thank these community members who volunteer countless hours to provide leadership to our public schools.

USD 407 Board of Education members include Brett Mai, Deanna Myers, Kevin Ochs, Matt Nichols, Raeleen Reinhardt, Kathy Wallert and Ron Wedel.

Board members meet twice a month, attend meetings, read reports, and discuss and approve plans and programs that shape the future of the schools.
