VICTORIA-Grant Schoenrock tossed three touchdown passes and rushed for 106 yards and two more scores as the Victoria Knights wrapped up a perfect regular season with a 54-0 victory over Otis-Bison on Friday evening.

The Knights bolted out of the gate early and never looked back with their first score coming 45 seconds into the game when Schoenrock connected with Drayden Karlin for a 45-yard touchdown pass and Victoria led 8-0 after the conversion.  The lead grew to 16-0 when Schoenrock found Lucas Klein from six yards out.

Jayvon Pruitt scored the first of his two touchdowns on a 17-yard run, the conversion failed leaving the score at 22-0.  Schoenrock then rumbled 50 yards for a score on a third and 10 play and the conversion increased the Knights advantage to 30-0.  Following a Cougar fumble, Victoria needed just one play to find the end zone again when Schoenrock found Karlin from 36 yards out and the conversion resulted in a 38-0 lead for the Knights after the first quarter.

Schoenrock scored his second rushing touchdown of the night early in the second stanza from 31 yards out to make the score 46-0 after the conversion and just 29 seconds later after another Otis-Bison turnover, Pruitt rushed 16 yards for a score to provide the final margin of 54-0.  The game ended at halftime with the 45-point rule in effect.

Schoenrock, in addition to his rushing totals completed four of eight passing attempts for 103 yards and three touchdowns and also recorded an interception on defense.  Pruitt rushed nine times for 80 yards and his two scores.  Overall, the third-ranked Knights outgained Otis-Bison (2-6, 2-4) 308-86 and forced four turnovers to increase their margin for the season to plus 16.

Victoria (8-0, 6-0) which wrapped up its first District title since 2015 last week with a win over Tescott will now prepare for the 8-Man Division ll playoffs.  The Knights, the top seed in District 5 will host the #4 team from District 6, which remains to be determined on Thursday, October 29.
