Napue, Ney Lead RHS Girls in Hoisington
Tionna Napue and Jaden Ney may be freshmen at Russell High School. But the two are among the best in their weight divisions in Girls Class 4-1A wrestling in Kansas and they showed that again on Friday, December 17 in Hoisington.
Napue went 5-0 and won the 120 pound division. She is now 12-0 on the season and currently ranked sixth by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association. Ney posted a 3-1 mark and finished second at 132 pounds. She is now 10-3 and ranked fifth by the KWCA.
Also Friday for Russell, Aurora Kuntzsch went 2-3 at 126 and did not place. MeDora Cooper went 0-4 at 138.
RHS is off now until January 8 when they compete in the Norton Invitational.
