Natoma, Sylvan-Lucas in New KBCA Rankings

The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association has released its first high school rankings after the holiday break.

The Natoma boys are up to #5 in Class 1A Division II. The Sylvan-Lucas boys and girls are both ninth in 1A Division I. Five teams out of the Mid-Continent League are state ranked. The Hoxie boys remain #1 in 2A, while the Ellis boys are tenth and the Trego girls are fifth. In 3A, the Phillipsburg girls are fourth and the TMP-Marian girls enter the poll at #9. The Central Plains girls remain the top ranked team in 1A Division I. The Osborne girls are sixth and the Osborne boys tenth in 1A Division I. The Hoisington boys drop to ninth in 3A.
