Russell Wrestling Club's Rumble for the Ring is Saturday

Around 500 boys and girls are expected to be in Russell on Saturday, January 21 for the Russell Wrestling Club's Rumble for the Ring.

The day will be broke into two sessons. Matches begin at 9 AM for the 6U, 8U and 10U divisions with the 12U and 14U divisions going 30 minutes the first session ends.

First place winners receive a championship ring. Second place winners get a custom medal.  Third and fourth place winners receive a smaller custom medal. Custom robes go to the Most Outstanding Wrestler boy and girl in each age group.

The Russell Rumble for the RIng will be held in memory of longtime Russell wrestling supporters Jane Bender and Alan Dolezal.

The event will be held at Russell High School's Amos Morris Gym and is open to the public.
