Russell's Anna Thielen Selected to Play in Western Kansas All-Star Basketball Game

Russell High School senior Anna Thielen has been selected to play in the Western Kansas All-Star Basketball Game in Colby on Saturday, April 13.

The girls and boys games featuring area coaches and senior athletes will be at the Colby Event Center. Admission is by free will donation. The event is hosted by the Colby Community College basketball programs.

A Rising Stars Skills Clinic for kids will be from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, the girls game and three-point contest will be at Noon and the boys game and dunk contest will be at 2 PM.

The rosters for the girls are on the dark team Aubree Richardson of Wallace County, Emme Ratliff of Peyton, Colorado, Kenlee Mackley of Triplains, Mackenzie Clydesdale of Norton, Joslyn Nichols of Triplains and Adrian Neal of Wichita East and on the light team Jera Kruleski of Holcomb, Jordyn Fleckenstein of Golden Plains, Anna Thielen of Russell, Karli Krier of Oakley, Dessirae Ulmer of Fountain Fort Carson, Colorado, and Gracie Riner of Osborne.

The rosters for the boys are on the dark team Owen Reece of Hodgeman County, Dominic Martin of South Gray, Bradon Bird of Meade, Brayan Rodriguez of Rawlins County, Calen Wente of Fairfield, Maddox Spray of Great Bend and Dylan Gansel of Hill City and on the light team Sheldon Temaat of Oakley, Doak Guttery of Osborne, Nathan Goheen of Osborne, Aiden Conrad of Osborne, Johnathan Hamel of Osborne, Ivan Reyes of Oakley and Manuel Gonzalez of Goodland.
