Russell's Mooney Takes Seventh in Osborne
Russell's Jake Mooney fired an 85 to earn a seventh place finish at the Osborne Invitational on Tuesday, April 9 at the Shady Bend Course.
Mooney fell seven shots back of Hill City's Noah Fry, who won top individual honors with a 78. Slade Nuss was 17th with a 99. Also for the Broncos, James Pummell shot a 115, Joey Hurla a 121 and Treiton Ryan a 126.
Russell placed fifth as a team with a 420. Hill City took the team title with a 325. Phillipsburg was second with a 366. Seven schools competed.
Next up for the Broncos is the Plainville Invite on Monday, April 15. Tee time is at 3 PM.
