Sub-State Basketball Tournament Brackets Released for Classes 3A, 2A
Brackets have been released for Classes 3A and 2A Sub-State Basketball Tournaments in Kansas.
Russell and Ellsworth will compete in the Hoisington Class 3A Sub-State, while Ellinwood is in the Meade Class 2A Sub-State and Lincoln is in the Alma-Wabaunsee Class 2A Sub-State.
First round games will be played at the higher seed on Monday and Tuesday, February 26 and 27. The semifinals and championships will be played at the host site on Thursday through Saturday, February 29 through March 2.
The Russell boys are the six seed and will travel to three seed Hoisington on Monday, February 26 at 7 PM at the Hoisington Activity Center.
The Russell girls are the five seed and will travel to four seed Larned on Tuesday, February 27 at 7 PM.
All Russell games will be broadcast on KRSL 95.9 and KRSL.com with select coverage of other area teams on KZRS 107.9, KRSL AM 990 and 98.1 FM, and KRSL.com.
