The 39th annual 8-Man Football All-Star Games were held on Saturday, June 8 at Beloit High School's Trojan Stadium.

The West squad prevailed in both contests, winning the Division l game 50-42 and the Division ll contest 28-14.

In the Division l game, the West held a 28-26 lead at intermission after the lead changed hands three times in the first half before pulling away for the win.  Logan Meier of Lincoln, whose coach Colby Hamel served as one of the West's assistant coaches contributed to his team's victory with a two-yard touchdown run and a run for a two-point conversion.  The west racked up nearly 500 yards of total offense on the way to their 50-point total.

The Division ll game was a much lower scoring affair as the West bolted out to a 22-0 lead early in the second half before hanging on for the two-touchdown victory.  Former Natoma Tiger and current Kinsley head coach Corey Dunlap served as one of the assistant coaches for the West.  Area players competing on the West squad included Seth Schwien, William Scherrer and Landon Schmidtberger of Victoria.  Schmidtberger registered one carry during the contest.  Brody Batchman of Sylvan-Lucas was also part of the West squad while his Mustang teammate Lane Homewood was also selected to play but did not compete due to injury.

Ian Kresin of Lakeside, who has signed to play Football at Kansas Wesleyan University scored on a 27-yard touchdown run to put the East team on the scoreboard in the third quarter.
